Both are ways manufacturers address vehicle issues, but they're different in scope and urgency.

**Recalls:**
Recalls address safety defects or non-compliance with federal standards. They're issued by the manufacturer and mandated by the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration). If a defect could cause injury or a crash, a recall is issued. Recalls are **always free** for the vehicle owner-dealers perform them at no charge, even if your warranty has expired.

**Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs):**
TSBs address non-safety issues-things like minor squeaks, software updates, or performance adjustments. They're optional recommendations from the manufacturer. While they're usually covered under warranty, TSBs aren't legally required, and repair costs may apply after warranty expires.

**Why it matters:**
Recalls are about protecting you; TSBs are about improving your driving experience. Our Service team monitors recalls for your vehicle and contacts you proactively if one is issued.

**Your peace of mind:**
Check your vehicle's recall status anytime on NHTSA.gov or call us at (815) 453-8566. Our Service team is ready to schedule any recall work-it's fast, free, and we'll get you back on the road.
